Westport Lake Cafe's Monster Breakfast Challenge

The cafe at Westport Lake reopened under new management in 2025, and it wasted no time launching a breakfast challenge with real local flavour. Alongside the full English favourites, the plate comes with six Staffordshire oatcakes and a bowl of tater tots. You've got 30 minutes to clear the lot, and when it first launched, the wall of fame was still empty.

What you'll be eating

Six rashers of bacon, six sausages, six eggs, six slices of black pudding, two big scoops of mushrooms, a bowl each of beans, tomatoes and tater tots, six slices of toast and six oatcakes, plus a hot drink.

What you win

Finish within 30 minutes and the £25 breakfast is free. You'll also get a winner's T-shirt and a spot on the wall of fame.

Strategy tips

The challenge is only served between 10am and 11:30am. The oatcakes and toast are the filling part, so don't leave them all until the end.
