Heathfield Farm's Eclair To End All Eclairs

Heathfield Farm is a Farmhouse Inns carvery pub in Birkenshaw, and it's known for its giant homemade cakes. Its challenge is a two-foot chocolate eclair weighing around 5lb, filled with custard and cream and topped with chocolate and icing. There's no time limit, just one sitting, but when it launched the pub claimed it couldn't be finished, and the first winner took over two hours.

Strategy tips

It needs pre-ordering and must be eaten in. With no clock, the key is not to stop: sugar gets harder the longer you sit with it.
