Rockers Pub at Håstensgrillen in Varberg, on Sweden's west coast, has more food challenges than almost anywhere in Europe, with over 25 on its list. The headline one is a Swedish classic: a kilo of meatballs with a kilo of mash, cream sauce and lingonberries. Others include 2kg gyros, monster burgers, giant pizzas, a 2kg pancake stack and a 2.5 litre milkshake.

What you'll be eating

The main challenge: 1kg of meatballs with 1kg of mashed potato, sauce and lingonberries. Other challenges include 2kg burgers, 2kg pizzas, 2kg gyros, sausage and mash platters, a 2kg pancake stack and team challenges, priced from about 259 to 999 kr.

What you win

Each challenge is pay to play. Finish it on your own for a cap, a gold medal and sunglasses or a glass. Beat all the biggest challenges in one year for a trophy and a 5,000 kr gift card.

Before you go

Orders are taken in person only, with no phone orders or table booking, and it doesn't take Swish. It's a seasonal pub, open Friday to Sunday and closed from early December to early March.
