Pizzeria Al Forno's Spicy Pizza Challenge

Pizzeria Al Forno in Kraków runs one of Europe's hottest pizza challenges, the Wyzwanie Ostrości. A 45cm pizza comes covered in a sauce of around five million Scoville, and you've got 30 minutes to eat it, plus five minutes to cool down. Attempts are streamed live, and the prize is serious money.

What you'll be eating

A 45cm pizza with the challenge sauce (around 5 million Scoville), fior di latte mozzarella, mushrooms, cotto ham, red pepper and red onion. Pancetta and vegetarian versions are available.

What you win

Finish within 30 minutes and win 1,000 zł, plus another 999 zł if you beat the record. The 80 zł booking deposit isn't refunded.

Before you go

18+ only. Book online, sign a health declaration and agree to be filmed. No drinks during the classic format, and no dairy, extra sauces or fans. Challenges run on Thursdays.
