Harzer Schnitzelkönig's Royal Food Fight

Harzer Schnitzelkönig, the schnitzel king of the Harz mountains, has been serving giant portions in Lautenthal for 20 years. Its Royal Food Fight runs every day: pick one of four XXL dishes and finish it in under an hour. Your time earns points on an online ranking, and more than 6,000 people have taken part.

What you'll be eating

Choose one: a 1kg schnitzel, a 1.2kg rump steak, 750g of currywurst, or a 30cm giant burger. All come with fries.

What you win

Finish within the hour for a certificate and a place on the online ranking. The faster you are, the more points you score. Beat two, three or all four dishes for the titles Double, Triple and Quadruple.

Before you go

Choose your dish when you order. The meat and fries count but the salad doesn't. Only one XXL meal per person per day, and only your best time for each dish counts.
