Ali Baba is a kebab shop on Königsplatz in the centre of Augsburg, and its giant döner made German national news in 2025. A 30cm flatbread is stuffed with meat, salad and sauce to around 2kg, and comes with three glasses of ayran. The time limit was raised from 20 to 30 minutes because so few people were finishing.
