't Vol Bekske's McTongerlo Burger Challenge

Frituur 't Vol Bekske is a Flemish chip shop in Tongerlo, near Bree in Limburg, voted the best frituur in town six years running. The McTongerlo is its giant burger: a 30cm bun with four patties, eggs, pineapple, bacon and salad, with fries packed into the corners of the box. Many people share it, but you can take it on alone.

What you'll be eating

A 30cm bun with four hamburger patties, lettuce, tomato, three eggs, two pineapple slices, four bacon rashers, raw onion and a sauce of your choice, with fries.

What you win

Finish it alone and your next McTongerlo is free, plus a place on the Wall of Fame. It costs €18.

Before you go

The frituur has moved to Keyartstraat 29, with parking off Soezenstraat. Open Wednesday to Sunday evenings.
