Django's Smokehouse is an American BBQ restaurant on Broadway in Didcot, and its Danger Wings challenge is one for serious chilli fans. Six wings come coated in a sauce made with a 6.4 million Scoville extract and other hot chillies. You've got 10 minutes to eat them with no drinks, then a five minute afterburn where you can't drink, wipe your mouth or leave the table.

Strategy tips

It runs on Wing Wednesdays only and has to be booked. You're 18+ only, must sign a waiver, and gloves and goggles are provided. Staff check each bone is properly cleaned, so don't leave meat behind.
