The Black Market's Giant Mixed Grill Challenge

The Black Market in Warsop, near Mansfield, is a music venue, bar and brewery with a restaurant, and its mixed grill challenge is one of the biggest in the country. Almost every cut of meat you can think of arrives on one platter, from rump steak and lamb chop to liver and a half-pound burger, with a mountain of chips and a giant pork rind. It's one sitting, with no toilet breaks.

What you'll be eating

Sausages, bacon, black pudding, rump steak, pork loin, a lamb chop, chicken breast, liver, gammon, eggs, a half-pound burger, giant onion rings, salad, mushrooms, pineapple, peas, coleslaw, a mountain of chips and a giant pork rind.

What you win

It's pay to play, so you pay £30 either way, but finishers get a free dessert, a pint, a winner's T-shirt and a spot on the wall of fame.

Strategy tips

One sitting, no toilet breaks, no sharing and no swaps. Work through the meats before the chips and leave the salad until last.
